Goal of the Month nominations for Saliba and Jesus

William Saliba scores against Bournemouth

Gabriel Jesus' delicious chip against Leicester City and a sumptuous William Saliba strike against Bournemouth have been nominated for the Premier League's Goal of the Month award.

The pair are two of eight contenders for August's prize, with supporters encouraged to have their say and vote for their favourite effort.

The Brazilian's first goal for the club was a memorable one, as he stunned the Foxes by picking the ball up inside the box, and managed to get it up and over Danny Ward and find the top corner during our 4-2 victory. Jesus is also up for the league's Player of the Month award, alongside Martin Odegaard.

Saliba's maiden goal in our colours was also special, as he whipped the ball first-time into the net past the Cherries' Mark Travers to wrap up a 3-0 win on the south coast.

The pair are up against a sweeping Brentford move that led to Bryan Mbeumo netting against Manchester United, Kalido Koulibaly's volley in Chelsea's game against Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool Luis Diaz's solo effort against Crystal Palace.

There are also three Newcastle United nominees - Fabian Schar's thunderbolt against Nottingham Forest, Kieran Trippier's inch-perfect free-kick against Manchester City and Alain Saint-Maximin's blast away at Wolves.

You can pick your favourite here, as well have your say on Manager of the Month with Mikel Arteta among the nominees.
