After being named in our starting line-up for today’s game against Everton, Gabriel will complete a century of Premier League appearances for the club.
The recently-capped Brazil defender will move into three figures for English league appearances at Goodison Park this afternoon, having made his debut for the club back in September 2020 when he scored the first of 10 top-flight goals.
Gabi will become the 64th Arsenal player to hit a ton in the division, and the first since Bukayo Saka in August 2022. In fact, since that first appearance at Craven Cottage three years ago, only Bukayo has played in more Premier League games than our centre-back.
He is only the second Brazilian to complete a century, following in the footsteps of Gilberto Silva.
Gabriel’s 100 is comprised of 97 starts and he came on as a sub in the other three. He has amassed 8,590 minutes in that time, and his current record stands at 62 wins, 12 draws and 25 defeats.
