We are delighted to confirm the signing of United States international defender Emily Fox on a permanent transfer.
The 25-year-old right-back joins us following a spell at North Carolina Courage in the National Women’s Soccer League in the United States, where she made 19 appearances after joining in January 2023.
Prior to her time with North Carolina Courage, Emily spent her first two seasons in the professional game at Racing Louisville, having represented North Carolina Tar Heels at college level.
Emily made her senior debut for the United States national team in 2018 and has won 39 caps for her country in total. She was part of the squads that won the CONCACAF Women’s Championship in 2022, as well as the SheBelieves Cup in 2022 and 2023. Emily also represented the USA at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, starting all four of their matches during the competition.

Emily will wear the number 2 jersey here at Arsenal.
The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
