Arsene Wenger always wanted Jack Wilshere to stay at Arsenal - and he thinks he will.
The England midfielder’s contract is up this summer and he has a decision to make about whether to extend his long stay with the club.
And the boss is confident our No 10 will be at the Emirates next season - even if he won’t be.
“The latest conversation I had with Jack looks positive for the club,” said Wenger.
“I am not involved in the negotiations anymore but of course I am still in touch with Jack. If he wants my advice, I will give it to him. I’m convinced, like I always was, that his future is here.
“It was always my wish [that he stays] and I think it will happen.”
