Bayern Munich drawn in Champions League last eight

Arsenal v Bayern Munich

We will face Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League after we were paired together during the draw in Switzerland on Friday morning.

We made it to this stage by beating Porto on penalties on Tuesday night, and that has led us to face the German giants in the next round.

Thomas Tuchel's team knocked out Lazio to book their spot in the quarter-finals, overcoming a 1-0 first-leg loss to win 3-0 at home, with Harry Kane scoring twice.

It is the seventh time we have been paired with Bayern in the competition, and out of our 12 meetings we have won three, drawn twice and lost seven.

The first leg will take place at Emirates Stadium on either April 9 or 10, with the return fixture occurring a week later at Allianz Arena on April 16 or 17. Confirmed dates and kick-off times will be announced in due course.
