A host of our youngsters will be in action at Meadow Park on Saturday, July 29 as they take on National League side Boreham Wood in a 3pm kick-off.
In recent years, the home of The Wood has been the regular ‘home’ venue for our academy sides, so will be a familiar venue to those looking to catch the eye on the weekend.
The pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood, who finished sixth in the National League last season to reach the play-offs, has become a traditional part of our preparations for the new campaign and is a great opportunity for supporters to watch some early summer football ahead of the new season.
Mehmet Ali will take charge of the side which will consist of a collection of our under-21 and under-18 players looking to build match sharpness ahead of the new campaign.
