We’re delighted to announce that an Arsenal XI will play Boreham Wood in a pre-season fixture on Saturday 29 July, with a 3pm kick-off.
In recent years, Meadow Park, the home of Boreham Wood FC, has been the regular ‘home’ venue for our Academy sides and of course, our Arsenal Women.
The pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood, who finished sixth in the National League, reaching this season’s playoffs, has become a traditional part of our preparations for the new campaign and is a great opportunity for supporters to watch some early summer football ahead of the new season.
Our Arsenal XI squad on the day will consist mainly of our Under-21s and development players. Further details of our squad for the match will be announced closer to the day.
