On Tuesday 19 November 2019, 30 adult Arsenal Members won the chance to visit the Arsenal Training Centre at London Colney.
Members were treated to a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities and watched the first team train, as well as enjoying a Q&A with Joe Montemurro and Danielle Carter from Arsenal Women. One member also won a signed adidas Arsenal shirt and the group were treated to an impromptu meeting with Arsenal Legend and first-team coach Freddie Ljungberg!
During the exclusive trip, members were given an insight into the range of technology used to help develop players and learned about how the game has progressed significantly in recent years. Joe Montemurro and Danielle Carter were also able to talk in detail about the ever-evolving and successful Arsenal Women’s team.
To finish off the day, members were able to catch a rare and exclusive glimpse of a first team training session in action, which ensured that the day was truly wrapped up in style.
