Arsenal announce squad for eFootball.Pro League

We're delighted to announce that for the first time, we will compete in this season’s eFootball.Pro League, run by our partner KONAMI.

Battling against the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Juventus and AS Monaco, we will be represented by three of the best eSports gamers in Europe.

Emiliano Spinelli, Alexis Garaud and Christopher Maduro Morais have been carefully selected to represent the club at its first ever eFootball competition.

Held in Barcelona, the tournament will see us play 11 match dates against elite competition between December 2019 and July 2020, starting against AS Monaco on December 14.

“It is a great honour to become an Arsenal player,” said team captain, Morais. “As a lifelong supporter, this is something that I have dreamed of since I was a young boy and I am happy that years of work and sacrifice have paid off.

“I am excited, along with my team-mates, to represent Arsenal as the club makes its first steps into eFootball. Come on you Gunners!”

Having joined as the club’s official football video game partner in 2017, Arsenal and KONAMI have since signed a three-year extension to the partnership. This coincided with the PES League 2019 World Finals, which were hosted at Emirates Stadium and attended by Robert Pires.
