Arsenal and LA Rams come together for Inglewood

As part of our tour of the United States, Arsenal and the Los Angeles Rams came together at Champions Field in Inglewood to take part in football and American football coaching clinics for over 150 children aged between 7-14.

Bernd Leno, Nacho Monreal, Matt Macey, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Joe Willock, Zech Medley, Tyreece John-Jules and Robbie Burton joined LA Rams receiver Jalen Greene in a 'football v football' coaching session with eight community coaches who serve the local community in Inglewood, where the Rams are building their new stadium.

The day provided a chance for our players to spend time with and learn more about the diverse LA community and take part in football and American football drills.

Bernd Leno said: "It's an amazing opportunity to get out and see different parts of LA and do something a little bit different. It was great to meet the young people today from the local community and collaborate with LA Rams players who all taught us a thing or two about American football!

"We really hope these young people had a day to remember today with two great sports coming together for them. Thank you to everyone for making us so welcome and sharing their sport and community with us whilst we're here in the US."

Jalen Greene added: "It meant a lot for me to be back at the exact same park where I started playing football and to have the chance to see those kids chase the same dreams I had.

"For a team like Arsenal to come out and work alongside us to host a soccer clinic is something really special. As someone who grew up playing a variety of different sports, I think there is so much value in getting exposure to new things and there are important life skills that you can learn in every team sport."
