Anna Patten has completed a permanent transfer to Barclays FA Women's Super League club Aston Villa.
Anna joined Arsenal at the age of 12, spending time developing in our academy before making her first-team debut in 2017.
The defender then moved to the USA to play college football, before rejoining Arsenal in January 2021.
In January 2022, Anna joined Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the 2021/22 WSL season, before returning to Villa on loan for the full 2022/23 campaign.
Anna made a total of 31 appearances over the course of her Arsenal career, scoring two goals along the way.
Everybody at the club would like to thank Anna for her efforts during her time with Arsenal. We wish her well for this next chapter and look forward to welcoming her back to Meadow Park and Emirates Stadium soon.
