Mauro Bandeira has joined League Two side Colchester United on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old born in Portugal joined us in 2016 and has been a key figure in our academy sides ever since. He signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2022.
Mauro made 23 appearances in all competitions for our U-21s last campaign, scoring three times and assisting twice. The midfielder’s hard work earned himself a place in our matchday squad for the first team in both the Premier League and Europa League.
We wish Mauro all the best with Colchester United this coming season and look forward to watching his continued development.
The loan is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
