THE STORY SO FAR
We approach our final home game of the Spring Series having avoided defeat in our previous two fixtures at The Hive this season.
Pedro Martinez Losa’s side have scored eight times at home this season, taking four points in the process.
The squad will undoubtedly be buoyed by a 1-0 win at Manchester City on Sunday.
THE OPPOSITION
Reading arrive at The Hive on Wednesday night having won two of their six Spring Series games to date.
The Royals have taken seven points from a possible 18 this campaign, and sit sixth in the table.
Melissa Fletcher and Lauren Bruton have each scored five goals this season, but Reading’s goal difference is currently at minus four.
ONE TO WATCH
Leah Williamson has looked increasingly accustomed to a central midfield role this campaign.
Having previously appeared as a central defender, the 20-year-old has frequently been paired with Jordan Nobbs during the Spring Series.
Having quickly developed a strong understanding on the pitch with Nobbs, Williamson has gone from strength to strength.
LAST TIME OUT
We last faced the Royals last July, when we ran out 3-1 victors at The Hive.
Vicky Losada opened the scoring before Fara Williams twice found the net, first from open play and then from the penalty spot.
Emma Follis pulled one back for Reading, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
