Eddie Nketiah scored a hat-trick in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Tottenham in Arsenal Under-18s' last game of the season on Saturday.
The striker opened the scoring in the fifth minute when he latched on to Savvas Mourgos’ pass and fired into the bottom corner.
The hosts’ lead didn’t last long as an own goal from Jordi Osei-Tutu following a mix-up with Hugo Keto handed Spurs an equaliser a minute later.
Nketiah struck again before the break, racing on to Nathan Tella’s through ball before driving a low effort past Alfie Whiteman.
Frans de Kat’s side finished the half on the front foot as Mourgos crashed an effort against the post after cutting inside.
The Gunners remained on the attack after the break, and Nketiah soon completed his hat-trick with a fantastic curling strike into the top corner.
Tottenham substitute Aramide Oteh pulled one back with 12 minutes remaining when he held off Kris Da Graca and hammered the ball past the outstretched Keto.
Osei-Tutu’s afternoon went from bad to worse moments from the end when he flicked a header past his own keeper to make it 3-3.
