Arsenal Under-18s slipped to defeat at Crystal Palace on
Saturday, adding further woes to an already disappointing 2008.
The return of Jack Wilshere invigorated Steve Bould's
travelling youngsters and they enjoyed the best of the first-half
exchanges. Dutchman Nacer Barazite handed them a deserved lead on
25 minutes and Arsenal looked on course for victory.
However the Gunners faltered after the break and, following the
dismissal of Kyle Bartley, they conceded twice to hand the spoils
to a battling Eagles side.
