MK Dons Under-18s

Arsenal Under-18s

Murphy 2, Merida, Barazite

Arsenal Under-18s booked their place in the Academy League
play-offs with a comfortable victory at Milton Keynes Dons.

Steve Bould's side will face Reading or Leicester City in
the Semi-Finals after qualifying in some style with two goals from
Rhys Murphy and one apiece from Fran Merida and substitute Nacer

Murphy, who hit a hat-trick in last week's 5-3 win against
Charlton, opened the scoring after just seven minutes. Spanish
midfielder Merida added a second after 20 minutes and Murphy
grabbed Arsenal's third five minutes before the break.

Barazite scored the only goal of the second half shortly after
replacing Kieran Gibbs.

The Under-18s face Coventry City in their final Academy League
fixture next Saturday. Then the play-offs await.
