A gritty second-half performance from Arsenal secured a 4-3 win
against Charlton on Saturday. It was a positive return to Academy
League action for an Arsenal side which was side-tracked by a Youth
Cup tie which was postponed at short notice last week.
A first goal of the season for Abu Ogogo got the Gunners off to
a good start. But despite Nacer Barazite notching a second five
minutes before the interval, the sides went in all square.
Kieran Gibbs and Rui Fonte restored Arsenal's advantage in
the second half, although the Addicks did find the back of James
Shea's net before the final whistle.
