Arsenal Under-18s warmed up for the Academy League play-offs
with a victory against Coventry City in their final group game of
the season.
Steve Bould fielded a very young side at the Arsenal training
ground but they secured victory thanks to a 70th-minute strike from
Frenchman Cedric Evina. Emmanuel Frimpong had found the net in the
first half.
The result saw Arsenal finish eight points clear of West Ham in
their Academy League group. They will now face a play-off
semi-final against Leicester City on home soil.
