One of the stars of the FA Youth Cup side last season, highly-rated left back Lino was also a regular for us at under-21 level last term. The Portuguese-born, England youth international joined us from West Bromwich Albion midway through the 2021/22 season, and has made rapid progress ever since. Lino (full name Lino Goncalo Da Cruz Sousa) was part of the first team squad that travelled to the Dubai training camp last season, and was named on the bench for our Premier League match away to Brentford in September 2022, at the age of 17.
