Isaiah Rankin made one first-team appearance after rising through the ranks at London Colney - and that came in the north London derby.
Rankin had recently returned from a loan spell with Colchester United in Division Three when he was handed his chance as a substitute against Tottenham in a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane in December 1997.
That four-minute cameo proved to be the forward's only run-out under Arsene Wenger, who sold Rankin to Bradford for £1.3 million the following summer.
Ultimately the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, Ian Wright, Nicolas Anelka and Christopher Wreh were too far ahead in the pecking order.
Rankin helped the Bantams reach the Premier League in his first season but did not feature heavily in the top flight. From there he enjoyed loan spells with Birmingham and Bolton before joining Barnsley in 2001.
The Football League journeyman had no fewer than 14 clubs during his career, spending time with Grimsby Town (twice), Brentford, Macclesfield, Stevenage Borough, Crawley Town, Forest Green Rovers, Ashford Town and Hendon.
