Alex Caie

Alex Caie joined Arsenal from Victoria United in February 1897.

The centre forward spent only a few months with the Club after making his league debut against Burton Swifts.

Caie scored four times in his eight league appearances before transferring to Bristol South End in the summer of 1897.

He later played for Millwall, Newcastle United and Brentford before emigrating to Canada. He was killed in a rail accident in Massachusetts.
