Our under-21s came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at home to Leeds United on Friday night, Josh Robinson scoring our equalising goal in the second half.

Michal Rosiak struck a free-kick into the side netting early on, before Amario Cozier-Duberry saw a curling effort go just past the post.

The latter then had a powerful effort tipped over the bar after a good run into the box.

Leeds came close to taking the lead in the 17th minute when Ovie Ejeheri struggled with a cross into the box, before Luca Thomas cannoned a shot off the post.

Just beyond the half-hour mark, the away side did take the lead when a pass from James Sweet went straight to Charlie Allen who converted.

Sweet almost made amends with a shot from 25 yards on the brink of half-time, but it looped over the bar.

Early in the second half, a shot from Jimi Gower deflected into Nathan Butler-Oyedeji’s path, and he headed straight at Dani van den Heuvel.

Then, in the 52nd minute, Robinson struck in a lovely finish after a pass to the edge of the box by Cozier-Duberry to equalise.

Butler-Oyedeji saw a shot saved out for a corner kick before Cozier-Duberry shot over the bar as we began to assert our authority.

Ismail Oulad M’Hand shot straight at the goalkeeper before then lining up a free-kick, which was hit straight at the Leeds wall.

Leeds thought they had a late winner in the 88th minute, but the flag was raised for offside and there was ultimately nothing to separate the two sides.
