A group of Year 6 students from Laycock Primary School were given a day to remember when Arsenal and England forward Beth Mead made a surprise visit during their final Premier League Primary Stars session.
Beth spoke to the pupils about the themes of her debut book, Roar, such as resilience, coping with change and achieving their goals.
This was then followed by a Q&A session with questions from the pupils, who will also soon get to take a tour of Emirates Stadium.
Each pupil received a signed copy of her book, as well as an Arsenal goodie bag, with the 2021 European Championships Golden Boot winner also taking the time to talk to the youngsters and pose for photographs.
