Catalin Cirjan has joined Romanian Liga 1 side, FC Rapid Bucuresti on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old Romanian youth international midfielder joined our academy from Romanian side Viitorul Domnesti in July 2019.
Catalin enjoyed a positive 2022/23 season which started with a new contract, he then went on to make 23 appearances in all competitions for our academy, as well as scoring three goals along the way.
In addition to training regularly with the first team, Catalin also made our matchday Europa League squad four times last campaign.
We wish Catalin all the best with FC Rapid Bucuresti this coming season and look forward to watching his continued development.
The loan is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
