Our under-18s picked up their first points of their 2023/24 campaign after a 2-0 win over West Ham United in the Under-18 Premier League at London Colney.

Jack Wilshere’s side made a swift start to the season when Daniel Oyetunde beat the West Ham shot-stopper, Finlay Herrick, to a crossed ball and found the back of an unguarded net after just 18 minutes.

No more than three minutes later, a well-orchestrated link-up from Bless Akolbire and Oyetunde allowed the English forward to tee up Louie Copley to hammer home from the edge of the area.

After the interval, we started on the front foot and continued our form well into the second half, offering very little chance for West Ham to break through our back line.

Changes came in the form of Zac Shuaib, Cam'ron Ismail and Kamarni Ryan replacing Akolbire, Osman Kamara and Copley respectively and our young Gunners held out for a 2-0 win to secure three points.

The win sees us secure our first three points of the 23/24 season.
