Kai Havertz opened the scoring after 16 minutes, latching onto Max Dowman's perfectly weighted through ball before finishing confidently.

We doubled our lead on the half-hour mark, when summer signing Christos Tzolis cut inside on a fierce run before burying his finish into the home side's far corner.

The Spanish outfit pulled one back after the interval through a header from Arnau Martinez, but Dowman soon restored our two-goal advantage with a superb strike from the edge of the box.

Gabriel Jesus wrapped up the tie moments later, pouncing on a loose ball with only the goalkeeper to beat.
