Summer 2025 marked a record-breaking season for Arsenal Football Development, delivering our biggest and most impactful global camp programme to date. Across three months, we reached new territories, strengthened key partnerships, and provided unforgettable football experiences to thousands of young players worldwide.
This summer saw an extraordinary 500 days of coaching delivered, amounting to over 7,750 hours on the pitch, and engaging over 6,000 players across multiple continents. Each session reflected our commitment to developing players both on and off the field, while inspiring a lifelong passion for the game.
Global Growth and Key Highlights
Our international footprint expanded significantly in summer 2025, with programmes delivered across established and new locations:
- United States – 58 weeks
- UK Residential Camps – 20 weeks
- Japan – 2 weeks
- Georgia – 2 weeks (Marking our first camps in Tbilisi and Batumi)
- Croatia – 1 week (Debuting in Zagreb)
- Hong Kong & Singapore Pre-Season Tour – 1 week
Pre-Season Tour: Hong Kong & Singapore
As part of Arsenal’s pre-season tour, Arsenal Football Development delivered activations across Singapore and Hong Kong in collaboration with IFCC, enhancing traditional programming through access to club assets and exclusive experiences.
Key highlights included:
- Player access: Kai Havertz and Kepa attended training sessions with young players
- Legend access: Bacary Sagna, Ray Parlour, and Gilberto Silva engaged with participants
- Open training experiences: Players gained pitchside access, with some joining sessions on the pitch
- Matchday experiences: Access to fixtures, including tickets for the match vs Tottenham
- Exclusive sessions: Q&A with Mikel Arteta and coaching staff engagement through adidas rights
- Local engagement: Private clinics, grassroots activations with adidas/ActiveSG, and IFCC player involvement
Delivering the Arsenal Way
Each camp session is delivered to develop players to become the best they can be and inspire a lifelong passion for the sport. Arsenal Football Development’s training programme is based on teaching young gunners the same techniques, skills and Game IQ our academy players learn at our official Arsenal Youth Academy at Hale End and is designed to give players an understanding of what it takes to play for Arsenal.
The Arsenal Football Development coaches’ main goal is to ensure that each player develops on and off the pitch by learning the above in a nurturing and enjoyable environment while learning to ‘Play the Arsenal Way’
Looking Ahead to 2026
Following the success of 2025, plans are already underway to make Summer 2026 even bigger and better. We are excited to expand into new territories, with upcoming camps planned in Sweden, Italy, and Ireland, alongside further global growth.
