Elijah Upson

Elijah joined us in July 2026 as an 18-year-old, the same age his dad Matthew joined us in 1997.

Elijah is a powerful central defender with commanding ariel ability, which he deploys in both penalty areas to protect his own goal and threaten the oppositions.

The defender joins us with international experience under his belt having represented England at under-17s and under-18s levels. One of his career highlights so far was netting a 96th-minute winner for England under-18s against France in October 2025.
