The very latest pictures of our Arsenal Forest have arrived – taken on April 4 – and, our planting project in Bore, Kenya looks like… well, a forest!
Remember we only started planting our forest in December 2021, our first season of offsetting all the carbon generated in the production of the matchday programme. And we have now planted an incredible 35,200 trees – the equivalent of 19 Emirates Stadium pitches – through the contributions of the club but also, crucially, thousands from supporters who have enjoyed being part of the scheme. Thank you! And remember, the Forest supports over 70 workers in Kenya in a variety of roles.
The latest pictures illustrate how the recent, incessant rain has made the amazing growing conditions on the equator even more potent – although it also means our team on the ground have plenty of weeding to do!
