Shkodran Mustafi had his hands full with Edinson Cavani on Tuesday night but he could appreciate what a tough time Alexis gave the defenders at the other end of the pitch.
Our Chilean star scored the equaliser and was nominally our centre forward, but he drifted deep and to the flanks to find space and run at the PSG back four.

Mustafi says that makes Alexis difficult to mark - and his qualities are a mark of the modern game.
“I think in football today, modern football, it is not as static as it was and that’s what makes the game so quick and so difficult,” Mustafi told Arsenal Player.
“If you are a defender, you have to run all over the pitch to chase your striker and it is always difficult. I think we all know Alexis has qualities and he knows where to stand to give the opponent a difficult game. You have to give him credit for that.”
Mustafi had regrets over our start to the game - as you would after conceding a goal inside the first minute - but he praised the team’s resilience after that second-half fightback.
“I think a 1-1 draw has to be considered a good result, but I think we started the game a little sloppy,” he said.
“In the end when we came out in the second half we had more of the game. I think in the end, we were unlucky to not take the three points. I think we did a good job in the second half, and we had more of the play in front of their goal and in the final third. In the end, we have to be happy with the point.”
