The Netherlands goalkeeper has impressed since joining Arsenal in July 2015, helping the Gunners lift the Continental Cup with a clean sheet in last season’s final against Notts County.

Van Veenendaal also celebrated her birthday in style on Sunday, saving three penalties as Arsenal reached the FA Women’s Cup semi-finals with a shoot—out win over the Lady Magpies.
