Sparta Prague got their Gambrinus Liga season off to the perfect
start with a 1-0 win at Slovan Liberec on Monday. Libor Dosek's
goal on 19 minutes was enough to give the Czech champions three
vital early points against the team that finished fourth last
season. Sparta have just one more league game, against FC Viktoria
Plzen on Saturday, before welcoming Arsenal to the Toyota Arena for
the Champions League Third Qualifying Round first leg on August
15.
