Ivan Gazidis was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Arsenal Football Club in January 2009. He was previously deputy commissioner of Major League Soccer in the United States.
Ivan, an Oxford-educated lawyer, was a member of the founding management team of MLS and central to developing the stature and reputation of the league.
Ivan has developed Arsenal Football Club within the football community and international commercial markets. He sits on the European Club Association (ECA) Executive Board, which represents the interests of Europe’s leading 207 teams. He is chairman of the Legal Advisory Panel for the ECA, and is a member of FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber.
Ivan contributes to the domestic game’s development as a member of the Professional Game Board (PGB), FA Council and the Premier League Working Group for Elite Player Performance. He also serves as the Chairman of the FA's International Committee.
Arsenal Football Club’s longest-serving director, Ken Friar OBE has been a mainstay of the Club for more than 60 years.
During this time, Mr Friar, as he is affectionately known by all, has done just about every job at the Club including working as Club Secretary and Managing Director. He was a driving force behind the Gunners’ move from Highbury to Emirates Stadium and continues to lead the Club's activities in the property sector.
Lord Harris of Peckham was appointed to the Arsenal board in November 2005.
One of Britain's longest-serving retailers, Lord Harris took over his family run carpet business aged 15. He went on to found Carpetright in 1988, where he played a central role until announcing his retirement in 2014.
Lord Harris is a keen philanthropist, supporting a number of charities and projects that help young people to fulfil their potential.
Stan Kroenke became the majority shareholder of Arsenal Football Club in April 2011, having previously been appointed to the board of directors in 2008.
As the head of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, he owns a number of American sports properties; the Denver Nuggets basketball team, Colorado Rapids Major League Soccer team, St. Louis Rams of the NFL and the Colorado Avalanche ice hockey team in the NHL. He is a real estate developer and also owns the Outdoor Channel and Altitude Sports & Entertainment.
Josh Kroenke joined the board of Arsenal Football Club in December 2013.
He is also President and Governor of the Denver Nuggets basketball team, where he oversees the day-to-day operations and has helped the team to record one of the most successful six-year spells in the team’s history. He is President of Colorado Avalanche in the NHL and is the Alternate Governor of the Colorado Rapids Major League Soccer team.
Josh works closely with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment executives on multiple business operation issues, ranging from finance to marketing.
