We did very well and now we have to continue to play the same way. We have one week of rest now to prepare for the Manchester City game.
on Alexis’ performance…
Alexis is one of the best players in the world, he’s very important for us, he plays very well every game and I hope he can play the same all season.
on how exciting having everyone fit will be…
We have some good players coming back now like Mesut, Aaron, Danny next week and I know we are stronger with them. I enjoy playing with them a lot.
on how much difference a week’s rest gives them…
It will be a good game. If we need to win, we need to have a perfect match. They are a very good team and we have prepared very well for this game.
on getting revenge…
The team had a good spirit and we were aggressive because we knew the second ball was very important. The team concentrated for the whole game and it was a good performance.
on scoring early…
We scored in the first half and that always makes the rest of the game very easy. I hope we can do the same in the next game.
