Eidevall: 'Another brilliant memory we can share'

Jonas Eidevall has reflected on a 'special' day at Emirates Stadium, after we secured an impressive victory against Manchester United in front of yet another WSL record crowd,

Here is everything the head coach had to say after the final whistle:

on how much he enjoyed the game...

A lot. It was a special day for the team, for me and for our supporters. I think it’s another brilliant memory that we can share together.

on the sustainability of our attendance...

This is the next step. Because we can't sell more tickets! We can't, at the moment, just extend the stadium. What we can do now, what is the important thing for any great football team is to build consistency. Consistency, high standards, and being loyal, being here, week in and week out. Can we now sell out two times, three times, four times? I think that needs to be the goal and what we need to chase.

on holding the top five attendances in WSL history...

It's a movement. It's a snowball rolling and it's a movement. I think the atmosphere that we create and the supporters and the team create together, I think it's special. And you can see that with the following. We can see how it grows every day, so let's keep growing and let's keep making each other better.

on attacking Man United's fullbacks...

We knew that we had some really clear strengths, not only in wide areas but also in the way we position against their backlines. And we were good and brave enough in our build-up to play the ball into those spaces, which is not the easiest against United. But if you're able to do that, then you can have a lot of joy from that.

on Stina Blackstenius' performance...

She creates a lot of space. She's constantly trying to be in the right position as well for it and she creates a lot of space that we can exploit with other players.
