Despite three cup defeats by Arsenal this season, including a 3-1 FA Cup exit just last week, Everton blew away the Gunners' 100% league record with a stunning 3-0 away win and also ended their incredible unbeaten record, that had lasted for 108 league games.
The Gunners were still in first gear when The Toffees struck twice in the opening 13 minutes, Fara Williams scored in the 10th minute and then the sucker punch goal came in the 13TH min by Michelle Hinnigan. It was never going to be Arsenal’s day after this, and they struggled to put away any chances they had throughout the game.

Jill Scott completed the scoring 8 minutes into the second half when she broke free of Arsenal’s defense and slotted home. Everton now trail the leaders by six points but with three games in hand.
