Women's FA Cup tie against Man City confirmed

Women's FA Cup trophy

Our Women's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Manchester City will take place on Sunday, February 11 at Meadow Park.

The game against City will be a 12.30pm kick-off, and will be broadcast live in the UK on BBC Two.

We made it through to the last 16 of the competition courtesy of our 5-1 win against Watford thanks to goals from Alessia Russo, Lia Walti, Stina Blackstenius, Amanda Ilestedt and Frida Maanum.

The two sides last faced off in November when we beat City 2-1 at Meadow Park with Steph Catley and Blackstenius on target.

We are the most successful team in FA Cup history, having lifted the trophy on 14 previous occasions - six more than our nearest rival Southampton. City meanwhile have triumphed three times, all in the last seven seasons.

They made it through to this stage of the competition by beating Durham 4-0 away from home in the fourth round.
