Olivier Giroud scores against Bournemouth in 2017

Saturday sees us head to the south coast to take on Bournemouth, and you can look back at some of our best days by the seaside with these classic clips.

We have been involved in some high-scoring encounters at the Vitality Stadium down the years, which have seen some stirring comebacks, emphatic wins and excellent goals in recent times.

To whet your appetite for this season's trip, here are four of the best clashes at the home of the Cherries:

February 7, 2016

Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal

After more than five hours without a league goal, it was Mesut Ozil who volleyed in the breakthrough in our first ever visit to Vitality Stadium during Bournemouth's inaugural Premier League campaign. Naturally, it then took just one minute for our next goal! Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain added the second in off the post for his first Premier League goal away from home.

January 3, 2017

Bournemouth 3-3 Arsenal

3-0 down with 20 minutes remaining, we managed to salvage a draw courtesy of a stunning late comeback. Charlie Daniels, Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser had given the Cherries what appeared to be a comfortable lead, but Alexis Sanchez and Lucas Perez scored in the 70th and 75th minute respectively before Olivier Giroud secured a 90th minute equaliser.

November 25, 2018

Bournemouth 1-2 Arsenal

The fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup saw us take a 2-0 lead on the south coast by way of goals from Bukayo Saka, who lashed the ball into the roof of the net from a narrow angle and Eddie Nketiah, who was in the perfect place to finish Saka's cross. Sam Surridge netted a consolation for Bournemouth late on.

August 20, 2022

Bournemouth 0-3 Arsenal

Our best performance at Vitality Stadium came last season. Gabriel Jesus showed brilliant footwork before the ball fell kindly for Martin Odegaard who couldn't miss from close range. The captain got his brace from a Ben White cross that caused trouble in the penalty area, before William Saliba curled the ball beautifully into the top right corner for 3-0.
