Team News: Ramsdale, Odegaard and Jesus all return

Team news to face Brentford

With David Raya ineligible to face his parent club as per the terms of a Premier League loan, Aaron Ramsdale comes back into the starting line up for our trip across town to face Brentford.

It’s Ramsdale’s first appearance for us since we lost 3-1 to West Ham away in the Carabao Cup at the start of November. His last Premier League outing was in the 3-1 home win over Manchester United on September 3, though he did play every minute of our Premier League campaign last season, including our 3-0 win over Brentford in September 2022.

Gabriel Jesus played 90 minutes for Brazil in the international break, and is also back in the starting line up for us for the first time since October.

Captain Martin Odegaard is also fit enough to start, after not featuring in the Premier League since we drew 2-2 at Chelsea.

Leandro Trossard retains his place in the starting XI too, with Kai Havertz dropping to the bench. Ben White also takes his place among the substitutes after missing the Burnley game.

Fabio Vieira is suspended after his red card against Burnley before the international break.

Arsenal: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Rice, Odegaard, Trossard Martinelli, Saka, Jesus. Subs: Hein, Kiwior, White, Cedric, Jorginho, Elneny, Nelson, Havertz, Nketiah.
