It was a tough game for us, because after losing to Liverpool we lost a little bit of confidence. We started the game well, scoring early despite the opposition being really prepared. These games are really difficult, and I think we won a mental battle. It was a difficult mental battle, so winning it was most important for us.
on the first half…
We were trying, and I think we were trying but Notts County were making the game difficult for us. A lot of little things were being more difficult than usual. The changing situation mentally was really important as we needed a win in the team.
on the mentality…
It means we are in the semi-final, we are the holders of the trophy. We have energy in the group and have players like Kelly Smith that can change things and hopefully help us win the trophy.
on Kelly…
There are no words. She came into the game for 20 minutes, impacting the game by scoring the goal. That’s her, and hopefully we can have her for a long time.
on Stoney…
We were working throughout the year, and you are lucky to score those goals. We did a lot of things in the game to score early, but we are lucky to be in the semi-final.
