Tomas Rosicky celebrated his call up for Euro 2016 by scoring as the Czech Republic came from behind to beat Russia. The midfielder equalised four minutes into the second half in Austria, before substitute Tomas Necid scored a 90th-minute winner. Aleksandr Kokorin had given Russia an early lead. Five days before, Petr Cech celebrated becoming the Czech Republic’s all-time most capped player by keeping a clean sheet in the comprehensive win over Malta. On the Arsenal goalkeeper’s 119th international appearance, Jaroslav Plasil, Milan Skoda and Roman Hubnik gave Pavel Vrba’s side a comfortable lead at the break, and David Lafata, Necid and Patrik Schick all scored after half-time to add further gloss to the scoreline. Rosicky also started and played 66 minutes.
