Aaron Ramsey spoke to the media after Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Tottenham. This is what he had to say:

on showing character…
It was important after back-to-back defeats to come here and try to get a result. I thought in the first half we did well, but they came out in the second half and got the two goals in quick succession. We were under the cosh a bit but we carried on and got the equaliser.

on if confidence has been restored...
I think we needed a performance like that after the couple of defeats that we've had. We needed to come here and get something and we managed to do that with 10 men.

on his goal and the celebration...
I was getting a lot of stick on the side so when it goes against them it's good to give it back to them sometimes. In the end I was fully concentrated on the end and I was happy to score my goal.

on fearing the worst with 10 men…
Of course, it is always difficult, especially against a top team like them, but we did show great character to come back from 2-1 down.

on his goal…
I anticipated Hector maybe pulling his shot a bit and thankfully it fell to me, and it was one of those ones that you just react to quickly and I was glad to see it go in.

on if Dier should have been sent off...
Yeah, maybe. Giroud's the other side of him, we had runners going off him, so we were in a dangerous position, and he's brought him down. If he wasn't on the yellow card, I'm sure one would have been given for that. That's up to the ref. Sometimes they give them, sometimes they don't. That's something that we have to deal with.

on Alexis scoring...
Hopefully him and myself can chip in with a few more goals towards the end of the season and finish off strongly. We'll keep giving everything until the final game of the season is over.

on proving the squad have hunger...
I think so. I think we needed a result here today. We would have liked to have won the game but it was important just to get a result. We've had two defeats, so we're happy to come away with a point in the end, considering the circumstances.
