Former Gunners Chris Whyte, Jimmy Carter and Omar Riza represented the Arsenal Charity team in an exhibition match last Thursday in Arkley, to celebrate the opening of the new Alan Mattey stand at the Maccabi London Brady Ground.
The sports ground, which was derelict in 2002, has been transformed in recent years thanks to the help of a committed group of local football fans and support from the Premier League and Arsenal, via the Football Foundation.
