Under-18s: Arsenal 2-1 Ipswich Town

Arsenal Under-18s beat Ipswich Town 2-1 in their second pre-season friendly, at London Colney on Tuesday.

Vlad Dragomir and Marcus Agyei-Tabi scored as the young Gunners came from a goal behind to claim victory.

Arsenal started the game well and their high pressing led to early chances for Joseph Willock and Reiss Nelson, but the visitors made vital blocks to thwart their efforts.

Frans de Kat’s side continued to press but it was Ipswich who made the breakthrough, scoring on the stroke of half-time.

The Gunners continued to battle after the break, however, and soon levelled when Romania Under-16 forward Dragomir scored his first goal for the club.

Arsenal dominated possession in the second half and soon had their deserved winner. Yassin Fortune was tripped in the box and Agyei-Tabi stepped up to secure a hard-fought victory from the spot.
