Apply for the Arsenal BTEC programme

Arsenal in the Community is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals aged between 16 and 18 to study a two-year BTEC level three in sports, development coaching and fitness.

From the course’s base in the Arsenal Hub next to Emirates Stadium, participants will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to progress towards employment or further education.

The programme, which starts in September 2015, will teach students the key elements of community sports coaching, with a particular focus on football. Trainees will also receive coaching experience and will be mentored towards FA level one and two coaching badges.

The Arsenal traineeship programme has been a cornerstone of Arsenal in the Community since the 1980s. More than 900 individuals have come through the programme in the past 30 years, including Arsenal Ladies’ star Rachel Yankey and Millwall’s head of academy sports and medicine, Nick Irwin.
