Club shows support for non-league day

Boreham Wood West Stand

Arsenal are pleased to help Conference South side Boreham Wood FC with their travel arrangements this weekend as part of Non-League Day.

The club, who are managed by former Gunner Ian Allinson and are home to the Arsenal Ladies and Arsenal academy sides, will use the first-team coach for their visit to Gosport Borough on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal club secretary David Miles said: “We are delighted to be able to help Boreham Wood FC with their travel on Non-League Day again this year, and wish Ian Allinson and his players the very best for their match.”

Non-League Day is a celebration of the semi-professional and amateur game and, with the absence of Premier League football this weekend, provides an opportunity for supporters to pay a visit to their local club side.
