Arsenal's pre-season opener at Boreham Wood has nearly sold out, with only an extremely limited number of tickets remaining for Saturday’s match at Meadow Park.

Boreham Wood FC have advised that any supporters wishing to attend the match on Saturday should purchase their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Supporters are urged not to travel to Boreham Wood without tickets.

Supporters unable to attend the match will be able to watch full exclusive live coverage of the pre-season opener on Arsenal Player.

Pre-match coverage on Arsenal Player starts at 2.45pm, ahead of the 3pm kick-off. Nigel Mitchell and ex-player Stephen Hughes will be in the studio, with Tim Peters and ex-Gunner Martin Hayes the commentary team.

A strong Arsenal side is expected to feature on Saturday, with Arsène Wenger choosing his squad from players who did not participate in the World Cup. Wojciech Szczesny, Kieran Gibbs, Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, Nacho Monreal, Mathieu Flamini, Yaya Sanogo, Abou Diaby and Carl Jenkinson could all feature.

It will be the first Arsenal men's match in PUMA kit, with Wenger's team due to wear the new yellow and blue away strip. The FA Cup will also be present at the game.

Before the match at 2.45pm, Wenger, Ivan Gazidis and Boreham Wood FC representatives will officially open a new stand at the Meadow Park stadium.
