We can confirm that our Carabao Cup third-round tie against Brentford will take place on Wednesday, September 27.
The game will take place at the Bees' Gtech Community Stadium with a 7.45pm kick off.
It will be our first meeting with the west London side in the competition since 2018 when we were 3-1 winners at Emirates Stadium, while we triumphed 3-0 at their home on our last visit back in September 2022 thanks to goals from William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira.
We, alongside the seven other clubs involved in European competition, enter the competition at this stage as we go looking for our third victory in the competition, following on from our successes in 1986/87 and 1992/93.
