Q&A

Which coach most inspired you?
My Dad, Keith Nobbs, didn't coach me on a team but has always been there to advise me and help me as a player since I started playing. He's really inspired me and pushed me to keep doing well, giving me constructive criticism and positives.

Toughest opponent?
Lyon.

What are your memories of your first club as a child?
Waking up early on Saturday mornings and going to play against the boys - having no worries in the world, just enjoying playing.

What tip would you give a young player hoping to succeed?
To really enjoy playing but if it's what you really want just to push yourself - when you're not training there is someone out there who is. If you work hard and believe, you will get to where you want to be!

What was the experience of playing in a youth final tournament?
It was an unexplainable feeling, and great knowing we had all worked hard and got the outcome of winning the U-19 European championships at the end. It's something I will never forget and I'll always strive to win and play in big tournaments again.

Playing and being captain of the U-17 world cup in New Zealand will be something I will never forget as well - getting to fourth place, which was a great achievement, definitely inspired me and gave me that drive to want to play in big competitions.
