A versatile player capable of performing in both defence and midfield, Michal’s debut season as a scholar was highly impressive. He scored four goals from right back in our FA Youth Cup campaign, including an injury-time winner against Cambridge United in the quarter-final at Emirates Stadium. The Poland Under-19 international also made his debut for us at under-21 level, and signed a professional contract towards the end of the season.
